Valencia (02.06.2008).- The Valencia Street Circuit will hold different races on the 26th and 27th of July, before the celebration of the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe 22, 23 and 24 of August 2008 . These events will be the Spanish Formula 3 Championship, the International GT Open and the Regional Championship, which will guarantee the Valencia Street Circuit to be in perfect conditions to hold the Gran Prix in August.

Around 20.000 people will attend these events, approximately. Valmor Sports will sell the tickets from July 1 through Servientrada Bancaja and El Corte Inglés with a price around 20 and 60 euros.

The Valencia Government Vice president, Vicente Rambla, the Sports town councillor, Cristobal Grau, the President of GTSports, Jesús Pareja and the representative persons of Valmor Sports, Fernando Roig and Joge Martínez Aspar have attended the presentation of this act.

The President of Valmor Sports, Fernando Roig, is convinced that the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe will be "a completely success and will mark a myth in the Formula 1". For this reason, Valmor Sports has organized these important races which will be a test for the Valencia Street Circuit the 22, 23 and 24 of August. Fernando Roig has said that these championships will be only carry out on Saturday and Sunday in order to not disturb the city.

On the other hand, the Vice President of Valencia Government has empathized that "the big sports events carried out in the Comunidad Valenciana are a dynamic element of the economy". For him, "in this moment of economic crisis the events about sports, like the Formula One, have a good effect in the city of Valencia and in the Comunidad Valenciana".

In the same way, he has said that "the celebration of this kind of big events has a direct repercussion of 6.000 millions of Euros and generates more than 140.000 employments in our Comunidad. And one of these events that will generate wealth for the Comunidad Valenciana will be the Formula One Grand Prix of Europe which will take place in the Valencia Street Circuit".

Besides, Vicente Rambla, has thanked "the big effort made by Valmor Sports and the Generalitat Valenciana so as Valencia and the Comunidad Valenciana have the best event of Formula 1 and that the Valencia Street Circuit be a successful reality".

On the other hand, for the President of Valmor Sports, "these races will be a test for the asphalt, the tracks, the accesses, all the installations and for the organization, in general. Besides, he has added that the racers of Valencia will be the first in driving in the Valencia Street Circuit".

The President of GTSports, Jesús Pareja, has assured that "the Valencia Street Circuit is going to be an emblem and a reference in the motor world". In his professional trajectory as a race driver and organizer of events, Jesús Pareja has added that "never have I known such international expectation with a race. I am convinced that the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe is going to be a success because of its originality and characteristics".

Finally, he has indicated that these prior events to the Formula One Grand Prix of Europe will have an important international representation because it will be retransmitted by 54 countries and will participate 25 nationalities.
