Valencia Street Circuit Marina

À La Carte Entertainment at the Valencia Street Circuit Marina

With its wide range of tailored services and activities—recreational, sport and entertainment activities—the Marina is one of the best areas to enjoy the Formula One races. Watch the races on the giant screen or enjoy the parties and the ‘chill out’ area.

Valencia (05/06/2008).- During the Formula One Grand Prix of Europe (22–24 August 2008) at the Valencia Street Circuit, the Valencia Street Circuit Marina will offer a wide variety of exclusive activities and services.

Since Valmor Sports started marketing the boat moorings at the Valencia Street Circuit Marina, many supporters have expressed interest in experiencing the Formula One Grand Prix of Europe from their boats. In approximately one month, about forty-five percent of the moorings have already been booked.

The moorings have been very successful with the public thanks to the wide range of activities available at the Marina. Valmor Sports has made the Valencia Street Circuit Marina an ideal space for its customers to experience this great sport event and to have an unforgettable stay.

Recreational Activities

Customers will benefit from some amazing activities in the service area of the Valencia Street Circuit Marina. In this 22,000 m2 area, customers will enjoy different recreational activities such as a chill-out zone decorated with Formula 1 paintings by the artist Ángel Uranga, a restaurant and organised parties—there will be an opening party on Friday night and a closing party on Sunday. These activities are exclusively for Valmor Sports’ customers whose boats are docked at the Valencia Street Circuit Marina.

Furthermore, each boat will be allocated two tickets for the Formula One Grand Prix of Europe in one of the best tribunes: the T-12. From this spot, enthusiasts will watch as the drivers come out over the bridge and start to increase speed on the straight where they will reach speeds of up to 323 km/h. Supporters who remain on the boats will be able to follow the races on the giant screen installed in the service area.

The customers with boats moored in the Valencia Street Circuit Marina will also benefit from a number of tailor-made services: styling, catering, laundry, and cleaning services, provisions of all kinds and, even organised trips and guided visits through the most emblematic areas of the city of Valencia. Customers will also receive an information guide with details of the services on offer and on how to get to the Valencia Street Circuit.

During the Formula One Grand Prix of Europe internationally renowned shipyards e.g. the British shipyard Princess will exhibit some of their best models at the Marina.

The Valencia Street Circuit Marina has capacity for 459 boats with lengths between 10 and 40 metres. All types of boats have docked in this area: sailing boats, sailing or motor catamarans, and motor boats. Most customers are Spanish, with most boats setting out from the Mediterranean coast.

And remember, these boats can move freely unlike those moored at the Valencia Street Circuit Dock. The closure of the mobile bridge that crosses the canal of the Valencia Street Circuit Dock will not affect the boats in the Marina.

Prices range between €2,800 euros and €9,000 for a week’s stay and, between €3,000 and €10,000 for 15-day packages.

Valmor Sports expects to be booked out by the end of July.
